Hope Lottery – Player Agreement

Introduction

Welcome to Hope Lottery. We are committed to running a lawful, transparent lottery and protecting your personal information. This Player Agreement contains both our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By purchasing a ticket or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Legal Basis and Licence Information

  • Hope Lottery (“the Lottery”) is operated in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
  • The Lottery is promoted and managed by Lottosocialhope Ltd (“the Promoter”), registered at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.
  • The Promoter is registered as a Small Society Lottery with Camden Council Licensing Authority, licence number SSL-REG/116828.
  • The Lottery is a charitable fundraising lottery, not a commercial betting product.
  • You must be aged 18 or over and reside in the UK to play.

2. Responsible Gambling

  • Gambling should be enjoyable. If it stops being fun, seek help:

3. Use of Lottery Proceeds

  • 80% of net proceeds go to nominated charitable causes.
  • 20% covers operational and administrative costs.
  • Annual financial summaries are published on our website.

4. Eligibility

  • Be 18 or over.
  • Live in the UK.
  • Not be an employee of the Promoter or their immediate family.
  • Entries from outside the UK are void.

5. Ticket Purchase & Draws

  • Tickets are sold via our official website and app only.
  • Maximum ticket purchase per draw: 6
  • Draw results are based on the Irish Daily Million and can be verified at  

6. Prizes

  • Prizes are held in a segregated account until paid.
  • Winnings are paid within 5 working days of verification.
  • Unclaimed prizes after 30 days go to charity.

7. Complaints & Disputes

8. Liability

We are not responsible for technical failures preventing entry or result checks. Participation does not guarantee winning – prizes are based on chance.

9. Intellectual Property

All Lottery materials are owned by the Promoter and protected by copyright.
